Shah Zamir's Personal Webpage

I am a postdoc fellow at Tulane University working with Dr.Tài Huy Hà . I got my Ph.D at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln working under the supervision of Dr. Alexandra Seceleanu. I completed my Master's at the University of Minnesota Duluth under the supervision of Dr. Joe Gallian. My research interests are in commutative algebra and classical algebraic geometry, specifically computational/combinatorial aspects of both. I am also interested in cross-sections of humanities and mathematics (see this talk). In my free time I enjoy weightlifting, reading about national politics, fiction/magical realism and cooking.
